Collector Crypt is a platform that bridges physical trading cards to the Solana blockchain. The process is straightforward: a physical card is submitted, authenticated, and vaulted. A corresponding NFT is then minted on Solana, representing ownership of that specific card.
The NFT and the physical card are permanently linked. If you hold the NFT, you hold the card. If you want the physical card back, you burn the NFT and the card is shipped to you. There is no intermediary custody layer managing a pool of cards. Each token maps to one specific item in one specific vault.
This matters because it changes what "owning" a trading card actually means. Secondary markets for high-value cards have historically involved high fees, counterparty risk, and slow settlement. An on-chain title settles in seconds, can be transferred globally without friction, and does not require trust in a counterparty holding the physical item. The vault relationship is built into the token itself.
